Fallout 4: FEVer Dreams launches as free official Creation with returning voice actors

October 21, 2026·3 min read

Fallout 4 receives free FEVer Dreams Creation with a new FEV-themed quest, returning Nate and Nora voice actors, mutation perks and new equipment.

Fallout 4 has received a new story-driven adventure more than a decade after its original release, with FEVer Dreams now available as a free Creation on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Developed by Kinggath Creations and presented by Bethesda Game Studios, the quest takes players into a military research facility where an experimental strain of FEV causes hallucinations and forces the Sole Survivor to confront memories of their past.

The October 20 release also brings back Brian T. Delaney and Courtenay Taylor, the original voices of the male and female Sole Survivor. Both return alongside hallucinated versions of the protagonist’s spouse, giving FEVer Dreams an unusually direct connection to Fallout 4’s main story.

The adventure takes place at Camp Jefferson, a reactivated military research base where the player wakes up unarmed, poisoned and exposed to a hallucination-inducing FEV strain. With only a limited cure available, players must work through security systems, puzzles and combat encounters while trying to escape the facility.

Kinggath Creations describes the quest as an escape-room-style dungeon filled with lore and unusual scenarios. Camp Jefferson contains multiple distinct areas, including laboratories, weapons testing sections and recreations of familiar locations, while hallucinations repeatedly blur the line between what is happening and what the Sole Survivor remembers.

Players can begin the quest by finding a Mister Gutsy near Home Plate in Diamond City’s market. Starting the mission temporarily separates the Sole Survivor from their normal equipment and companion, making the facility a more controlled standalone challenge.

One of the Creation’s biggest additions is the return of Delaney and Taylor, who voiced Nate and Nora in the original game. Depending on which protagonist players selected, the other character can appear during hallucinated sequences tied to the Sole Survivor’s pre-war life and Vault 111.

Dialogue choices during those encounters also affect progression. The player’s responses to their spouse help determine which of three mutation perks they receive later, with possible bonuses involving friendly wasteland animals, health recovery or combat boosts.

FEVer Dreams also introduces two configurable plasma weapons, experimental Ditanium Plate Armor, new clothing, named legendary equipment and settlement decorations. Challenge Tokens found throughout Camp Jefferson can additionally be exchanged for supplies, equipment and access to locked caches.

Bethesda is expanding Fallout 4 through Creations

Although FEVer Dreams carries Bethesda Game Studios branding, it is a Creation developed by Kinggath’s team rather than a traditional Bethesda-made expansion. Kinggath Creations is already well known in the Fallout 4 community for the extensive Sim Settlements projects.

The release arrives as Bethesda continues expanding its Creations program following Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, which bundled the base game, all six official expansions and more than 150 Creation Club items. Bethesda has also increased support for larger community-made projects through updates to the game and Creation Kit.

Unlike many paid Creations, FEVer Dreams costs no Credits and is available free through the in-game Creations menu. Its October 20 launch gives returning players a new voiced story centered on the Sole Survivor while Bethesda continues adding community-developed content to the 2015 RPG.
