Jynxzi Reveals First Streamers and Rules for September 20 Fortnite Tournament

Jynxzi has started revealing the lineup for his upcoming Fortnite streamer tournament, with Ludwig, Valkyrae, Stable Ronaldo, Deji, AngryGinge, Lacy, and Marlon among the creators currently set to take part.

The tournament is scheduled for September 20 at 4 PM ET and will be played in duos. Jynxzi originally called for 100 streamers when announcing the date and asking creators to find partners.

Jynxzi has revealed the first group of creators joining the event, with more of the lineup still to be announced.

Ludwig and Valkyrae are part of the announced lineup, alongside creators with very different levels of Fortnite experience. The field also includes several streamers who regularly appear in Jynxzi's creator tournaments.

The tournament will be streamer-only rather than pairing creators with professional Fortnite players.

Balancing the field has been one of Jynxzi's main concerns since he first discussed the tournament. In April, he considered pairing each streamer with a professional but argued that the format could leave less experienced creators with little influence over the matches.

The current rules instead ban pros and allow only streamers. Jynxzi has also said creators with stronger competitive Fortnite experience will face restrictions to reduce their advantage.

Jynxzi's latest tournament rules call for 96 streamers, down from the 100 he originally requested when announcing the event.

Jynxzi has also started confirming partnerships ahead of the tournament. Deji is set to play with AngryGinge, KatieB is paired with VanillaMace, and Lacy will team with Marlon.

Stable Ronaldo's partner has not been finalized, with FlightReacts and LosPollos both mentioned as possibilities.

The remaining lineup and final duo combinations have yet to be announced.
