NieR's 2B Comes to Dead by Daylight in New Crossover
Dead by Daylight has launched a new NieR crossover featuring 2B and A2 as Legendary Outfits for Feng Min and Yui Kimura, plus an Emil-inspired cosmetic for The Legion.
2B has returned in a new NieR crossover with Dead by Daylight, joining A2 and Emil in a cosmetic collection released on October 6.
Behaviour Interactive has recreated 2B and A2 as Legendary Outfits for existing Survivors Feng Min and Yui Kimura, respectively. The Legion represents the Killer side of the collaboration with a Very Rare Outfit inspired by Emil. The collection is available now, but it does not add standalone NieR characters, a new Chapter, perks, or Killer powers.
2B and A2 get more than simple costume swaps

Feng Min's Legendary Outfit transforms her into 2B, while Yui Kimura's does the same for A2. Legendary Outfits in Dead by Daylight can replace much more of a character's presentation than a standard cosmetic, and Behaviour has given both androids several features specific to the crossover.
2B and A2 receive unique character models, voice lines, music, HUD icons, and menu idle animations. That allows players to enter Trials with much more of each character's identity intact, even though their actual gameplay remains tied to Feng Min and Yui Kimura.
Neither android brings a new perk set or abilities from NieR. A player using 2B still has access to Feng Min's existing Survivor gameplay, while A2 functions through Yui's place on the roster.
Emil gives The Legion the collection's Killer cosmetic

Emil appears differently. Rather than receiving a Legendary character replacement, his distinctive appearance has inspired a Very Rare Outfit for The Legion.
The cosmetic brings Emil's recognizable head and grin into Trials without changing The Legion's Power or creating a separate NieR Killer.
Pod 042 also appears in the collection, alongside Legendary portraits featuring 2B and A2 for additional profile customization.
The crossover stays entirely on the cosmetic side
Behaviour describes the release specifically as the NieR Collection. No NieR-themed map, gameplay mode, Survivor perks, Killer Power, or full Chapter has been announced alongside it.
That distinction makes 2B's return closer to Dead by Daylight's other major Legendary Outfit collaborations than a traditional licensed Chapter. Players can appear as 2B or A2 during matches and receive their additional presentation features, but the underlying Survivor mechanics remain unchanged.
The NieR Collection launched on October 6 and is available now in Dead by Daylight.
