PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium are losing up to 10 games, including Persona 5 Tactica, Madden NFL 26, Shadowrun titles, and two Toy Story classics.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium are preparing to lose another group of games, with Persona 5 Tactica, Madden NFL 26, and the entire Shadowrun trilogy among the upcoming departures. Up to 10 games have appeared in regional Last Chance to Play lists, although the lineup can differ depending on where a subscriber is based.

Sony has not published the exact departure date for the full lineup across every region. The important change is already visible through PlayStation Plus, giving anyone partway through one of these games advance warning that its catalog access is coming to an end.

Persona 5 Tactica and the Shadowrun trilogy are on the way out

Persona 5 Tactica is one of the bigger games on the list. Atlus' turn-based strategy spin-off joined the Game Catalog in September 2025, giving it close to a year on PlayStation Plus before its upcoming removal.

All three Harebrained Schemes Shadowrun RPGs are also listed to leave: Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut, and Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition. Madden NFL 26 is another important departure, while some regional lists also include Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII, Toukiden 2, and Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back.

Premium members are losing Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue and Toy Story 3. The former is currently offered through PlayStation Plus Premium. Enhanced version of the original PlayStation release, with features including rewind, quick saves, and video filters.

Their inclusion makes this set of removals broader than a normal group of Extra-tier departures. Players interested in either classic should check their regional Last Chance to Play list rather than assuming Premium games will stay available indefinitely.

Downloading a catalog game does not keep it after removal

PlayStation Plus Game Catalog titles work differently from the Monthly Games offered through the Essential tier. Sony says Monthly Games that have been added to a player's library remain available while the required membership is active. Game Catalog and Classics Catalog titles can have an end date and leave the service.

That means simply downloading Persona 5 Tactica, Madden NFL 26, or one of the other leaving games will not preserve access once its PlayStation Plus catalog entitlement ends. Anyone already playing one of them should check the Last Chance to Play section for the removal timing in their region.
