Explore Cyrodiil like never before with stunning new visuals and refined gameplay in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Created through a collaboration between Bethesda Game Studios and Virtuos, the remaster modernises the 2006 open-world RPG while preserving the quests, characters and freedom that defined the original adventure. Players create their own character and explore Cyrodiil as the barriers between Tamriel and the realm of Oblivion begin to collapse. The open-ended RPG allows players to develop their character as a warrior, mage, assassin or a combination of different playstyles while completing story quests, joining factions, exploring dungeons and fighting creatures across the world. The remaster introduces completely rebuilt visuals using Unreal Engine 5 alongside redesigned character movement and combat animations, sprinting, an improved third-person perspective and an updated levelling system influenced by both Oblivion and Skyrim. Interface improvements, additional voice recordings and other quality-of-life changes further modernise the experience. It also includes the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine expansions along with additional downloadable content from the original game.
