Everything announced at Capcom Spotlight TGS 2026
Capcom came to TGS 2026 ready to show its homework. Most of the big names in the Spotlight were already announced, but this was the point where several of them finally started to look like actual games rather than logos and trailers.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance led the show with Teostra and new combat details, while Dragon's Dogma II: Dark Arisen and Mega Man: Dual Override both got much deeper gameplay breakdowns.
There were still a few oddball extras tucked in between the bigger updates. PRAGMATA picked up a Mega Man crossover, Monster Hunter Outlanders showed new content, and Capcom used part of the broadcast to mark Resident Evil's 30th anniversary.
Here is everything Capcom showed during its TGS 2026 Spotlight.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance brings back Teostra
Teostra stole the spotlight in the new Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance trailer. The Elder Dragon returns as part of the 2027 expansion, alongside new areas, monsters and Master Rank quests. Anyone at TGS can already try the fight in Capcom's show-floor demo.
Capcom also showed more of the Boost Bracer, which builds energy through attacks and spends it on enhanced actions across all 14 weapons. Two useful changes are coming to everyone for free too: faster weapon swapping without mounting a Seikret and the ability to change equipment from an Item Box outside your tent.
Before Ascendance arrives, Wilds is heading to Switch 2 on December 4 with all previous free Title Update content, local wireless multiplayer and online cross-play. Preorders open October 19, with the $39.99 Standard Edition discounted to $29.99 until December 3 and a free Prologue Demo planned before launch.
Dragon's Dogma II: Dark Arisen lets players create characters before launch

Dragon's Dogma II: Dark Arisen returned with a closer look at Norgan, the abandoned snowy region where the Arisen and Eir investigate the undying Fallen Dragon. Capcom also showed how forgotten relics tie into new weapons and skills.
The expansion's new character options are already available through Character Creation & Storage, including additional hairstyles and tattoos. Capcom also revealed more Official Pawns and the 12 Lost Rites Dungeon Challenges, where players can hunt down rare equipment left behind by past Arisens.
Dark Arisen launches October 9 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC.
Mega Man: Dual Override details its two fighting styles
Mega Man: Dual Override got one of the more detailed gameplay breakdowns of the show, showing how Mega Man and Proto Man handle stages differently. Mega Man sticks to ranged combat, while Proto Man fights closer to enemies and has to manage a heat gauge around his stronger attacks.
Capcom also dug into the Custom Chip system, which includes more than 50 active and passive upgrades. Some are simple boosts, while others add abilities such as rapid-fire shots, hovering or a protective bubble. The Override system adds another burst of power, followed by a temporary drop in performance once it wears off.
Twinkle Girl also returned as one of the game's eight Robot Masters, with defeated bosses still unlocking special weapons in classic Mega Man fashion. Dual Override launches in spring 2027 across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC.
PRAGMATA gets a free Mega Man crossover
Mega Man did not disappear after the Dual Override breakdown. Capcom followed it by dropping a free Mega Man Pack for PRAGMATA, giving Hugh and Diana two crossover outfits each.
Hugh can dress in Mega Man-inspired gear, while Diana gets matching Roll outfits, including full "Mode" versions and more casual fan designs. The pack also adds a Mega Buster gesture, another cabin animation and Mega Man music for the Shelter.
The crossover is available now as free DLC on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC, giving PRAGMATA its first proper Capcom crossover only a few months after launch.
Resident Evil's three remakes arrive on Switch 2 in October

Capcom gave the Switch 2 versions of Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition another showing ahead of their October launch.
All three arrive digitally on October 16, bringing three of the series' modern remakes to Nintendo's new hardware alongside Resident Evil 7, Village and Requiem. Physical editions follow on January 29, 2027.
The ports were first announced during Nintendo's September Direct, so there were no major surprises here. The Deluxe and Gold editions do include their respective additional content from the start.
Street Fighter 6 shows more of Arjun and C. Viper's Outfit 4

Capcom showed another extended look at Arjun before he joins Street Fighter 6 on October 13. The Martial Yoga fighter mixes heavy attacks, projectiles and traps with a mechanic built around recoverable damage.
Several of his attacks can leave recoverable health even when blocked. His Ghastly Interrogation throw then turns that damage permanent if the opponent is already carrying some, giving him a nasty way to cash in after sustained pressure.
Capcom also demonstrated Divine Pillar, which places a pillar at a chosen distance and can later be picked up and swung at an opponent. TGS attendees can try Arjun on the show floor before release.
C. Viper also joined the swimsuit lineup with a new Outfit 4 arriving October 13, while Street Fighter 6 added New Challenger images based on the upcoming live-action movie.
Monster Hunter Outlanders introduces Ruga Ealda
Monster Hunter Outlanders used its latest trailer to introduce a monster built specifically for the mobile game. Ruga Ealda is a new Elder Dragon covered in golden crystals that double as blades during combat.
We also met Haze, a new adventurer who fights with dual blades, alongside returning monsters including Great Girros, Azure Rathalos and Rathalos.
The footage spent just as much time on getting around Aesoland. Hunters can craft equipment to help cross its larger environments between fights, expanding the exploration side of the usual Monster Hunter loop. Outlanders is coming to iOS and Android, with pre-registration now open.
Resident Evil's 30th anniversary keeps getting bigger

Resident Evil turns 30 this year, and Capcom has stretched the celebration well beyond the games themselves. Universal Studios Japan is currently running Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive, a horror maze based on locations from Requiem, including the Wrenwood Hotel. It remains open until December 27.
Tokyo gets the World of Resident Evil 30th Anniversary Exhibit from October 30 to December 24, covering three decades of games and characters at Shibuya BEAM.
The anniversary concerts are travelling too. Symphony of Legacy begins its European run in Düsseldorf on November 30 before heading to Prague, Paris, London and Vienna, with Portland following in May 2027.
Street Fighter League and Capcom Pro Tour roll on
Capcom also checked in on the competitive side of Street Fighter 6, with both Street Fighter League and Capcom Pro Tour continuing through 2026.
Street Fighter League Japan features 12 teams across two divisions. The Americas season begins in October before regional playoffs at Anime Pasadena on November 8, while the top four EMEA teams meet at London MCM Comic Con on October 24.
Capcom Pro Tour qualification is already underway, with World Warrior registration still open for players chasing a place at Capcom Cup 13.
Capcom Town opens up 23 retro games

Capcom Town is temporarily turning into a much better place to waste an afternoon. A collection of 23 playable retro Capcom games is now available through the Capcom Town website on PC and mobile, with Street Fighter II: The World Warrior among the lineup.
The catch is that the games disappear again on November 1, so this is a limited-time addition rather than a permanent retro archive. Capcom Town is also running its TGS sale through September 21, covering games including Monster Hunter Wilds, Resident Evil Requiem and PRAGMATA.
Capcom saved the surprises for the details
Capcom's TGS Spotlight was never going to live or die on a huge surprise reveal. The better moments came from finally seeing how these games actually play.
Teostra gave Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance its biggest new face, Mega Man: Dual Override made the difference between Mega Man and Proto Man much clearer, and Dragon's Dogma II: Dark Arisen finally showed more of what is waiting in Norgan.
The smaller announcements helped too. A free Mega Man crossover for PRAGMATA, 23 playable retro games and a few Resident Evil anniversary extras kept the stream moving between the bigger demos.
For a showcase built mostly around familiar names, Capcom still managed to make several of those games feel much more concrete.
