Fortnite Could Be Getting a Chucky Collaboration for Fortnitemares 2026

Chucky could be joining Fortnite during Fortnitemares 2026, according to a new claim from Fortnite leakers ShiinaBR and FNBRIntel.

ShiinaBR said the Child's Play character is "likely" part of this year's Halloween event, crediting FNBRIntel alongside the claim. Epic Games has not announced the crossover, and no cosmetics, gameplay content, or release date have been confirmed.

The wording of the leak also stops short of presenting Chucky as confirmed, so his reported involvement should remain treated as a rumor until Epic reveals its Fortnitemares plans.

The report only connects Chucky to Fortnitemares 2026 and does not explain what the collaboration would include.

There is no confirmation that Chucky would be an Outfit, Sidekick, Back Bling, NPC, gameplay item, or another type of crossover content. Suggestions about adapting the character's small size into one of those formats remain speculation rather than information included in the leak.

There is also no confirmed Item Shop date, price, additional Child's Play character, or indication that Chucky would appear when Fortnitemares first begins.

Previous Halloween events show that Epic can integrate horror properties into Fortnite in several different ways, which makes it difficult to predict Chucky's role from the leak alone.

Fortnitemares 2024 gave the Saw collaboration a larger presence in Battle Royale. Epic added the throwable Boom Billy, a Billy the Puppet encounter, and Jigsaw's Challenge, which paired participating players against one another while wearing explosive masks. The same event also introduced a rideable Chainsaw and brought back Horde Rush.

Fortnitemares 2025 again mixed licensed horror characters with broader event content. Jason, Wednesday Addams, Scooby-Doo, and Ghost Face were among the featured crossovers, while Battle Royale received its own Halloween changes and Reload added the new Nitemare Island map.

That history does not indicate what Epic has planned for Chucky, but it does mean a Fortnitemares collaboration does not automatically refer to a conventional playable Outfit.

Epic Games has not yet published an official announcement detailing this year's Fortnitemares event or its crossover lineup.

Last year's event brought several major horror properties together rather than centering on one collaboration. Jason, Wednesday Addams, Scooby-Doo, and Ghost Face all appeared as part of the 2025 celebration, which ran from October 9 through November 1.

The Chucky claim suggests Epic could follow that approach with another group of horror collaborations in 2026, but the full lineup remains unannounced. Until Epic confirms the crossover itself, Chucky remains a reported Fortnitemares 2026 addition with no confirmed details about how or when the character would appear.
