Marvel Tokon Reveals Venom, Thor, Jubilee and Cyclops as Year One DLC Fighters

October 14, 2026·3 min read

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls has revealed its four Year One DLC fighters: Phoenix Cyclops, Jane Foster's Thor, Venom and Jubilee. The pass also includes a Klyntar stage, with releases running through 2027.

Arc System Works has revealed the full Year One DLC roster for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Venom, Jane Foster's Thor, and Jubilee will join the fighting game alongside the previously announced Phoenix Cyclops.

The announcement came during EVO France 2026. The developer also confirmed a new stage based on Klyntar, the home planet of the symbiotes.

Phoenix Cyclops will arrive first on November 2, 2026. The remaining three fighters are scheduled for 2027, with all four included in the Year 1 Character and Stage Pass.

Jane Foster's version of Thor will arrive in winter 2027. The character wields Mjolnir and possesses the God of Thunder's lightning-based powers. Arc System Works revealed her design in a new trailer. The developer also confirmed that Keiichi Okabe, known for his work on the NieR series, is composing her character theme.

His arrival will introduce Klyntar, a new stage based on the alien world associated with Marvel's symbiotes. Jubilee will complete the Year One roster in summer 2027. The X-Men character is known for producing explosive bursts of energy, although her fighting style has not yet been revealed.

Venom and Jubilee were introduced through character artwork rather than gameplay footage. Their movesets remain unannounced, and none of the three 2027 fighters has an exact release date.

Phoenix Cyclops arrives first with Dark Phoenix abilities

Phoenix Cyclops will become the game's first post-launch DLC fighter on November 2. This version of Scott Summers draws inspiration from the Avengers vs. X-Men comic storyline. His fighting style combines traditional Optic Blasts with the power of the Phoenix Force.

Cyclops can fight at close range or attack opponents from a distance. His abilities also include fire-based attacks that cover large areas of the screen. Using Optic Blasts builds Solar Shards. After collecting four, Cyclops can transform into Dark Phoenix.

The transformation temporarily increases his power but gradually reduces his health. Players will need to decide when the additional strength is worth the risk. Arc System Works has also announced Classic and Legacy costumes for Cyclops. Both will become available on November 2.

Year One pass includes four characters and the Klyntar stage

The Year 1 Character and Stage Pass costs $34.99 in the US. It includes Phoenix Cyclops, Jane Foster's Thor, Venom, Jubilee, and the Klyntar stage. Players also receive a set of character poses for the battle result screens. These poses are available immediately, while the fighters and stage will arrive throughout the announced schedule.

Standard Edition owners can purchase the pass separately. It is already included in the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions. The four fighters and Klyntar stage will also be available for individual purchase, allowing players to choose specific additions without buying the full pass. Individual prices have not yet been announced.

Its official store listing states that the remaining content is expected to be available by December 31, 2027. Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls launched on August 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC. It features 20 playable characters, with the Year One DLC set to expand the roster to 24 fighters.
