007 First Light's free Extended Operations DLC adds New Game+, 00 difficulty, Photo Mode, new TacSim missions and more than 700 fixes through Update 1.3.0.
IO Interactive has released Extended Operations, a free DLC update for 007 First Light that adds New Game+, a new 00 difficulty setting, Photo Mode and additional TacSim missions.
The content arrives with Update 1.3.0 and focuses heavily on replayability, giving players more freedom over Bond's outfits and gadgets while adding the game's toughest difficulty setting. IO says the update also includes more than 700 fixes and improvements based on feedback since launch.
New Game+ gives players more freedom on a second run

New Game+ unlocks after completing the full campaign on any difficulty and allows players to restart Bond's story from the beginning or return from any completed checkpoint.
Unlocked outfits can be used throughout the campaign rather than remaining tied to their original missions. Players can change Bond's look through the journal, then reload a checkpoint to apply the new outfit. Gadgets are more flexible as well. Instead of waiting until the next chapter to change equipment, players can swap between available gadgets during a mission.
The system still follows story progression. A gadget can only be selected once Bond has reached the point where it was originally introduced, preventing New Game+ from giving immediate access to every tool at the beginning of the campaign.
00 difficulty turns the campaign into a much harsher challenge
Extended Operations also adds 00 difficulty, which IO describes as the hardest way to play 007 First Light.
The mode unlocks after completing the campaign and increases pressure across both stealth and combat. Enemies spot Bond faster and deal more damage, while gadget resources recover only a fraction of their usual amount.
That makes 00 difficulty a separate challenge from the broader New Game+ freedoms. Players who want another playthrough with flexible outfits and gadgets without the harsher rules can still use New Game+ on the existing difficulty settings.
Valhalla Protocol and Jungle Heist expand TacSim

The DLC adds two major TacSim additions alongside the campaign changes. Valhalla Protocol takes players to Slovakia behind the wheel of the Aston Martin Valhalla. The activity consists of four missions with different challenges across day and night, while Bond's car is equipped with machine guns and missiles for destroying targets and chasing higher scores.
Jungle Heist returns to The Pearl in Vietnam for a more traditional infiltration mission. Bond must enter a guarded villa and recover classified documents, with the full property opened up as playable space and the interior redesigned to provide more routes and stealth opportunities.
TacSim has also been expanded with the full arsenal from the main campaign, giving players more options across its missions.
Photo Mode and hundreds of fixes round out the update
Photo Mode is another major addition requested by players since launch. The new tool lets players pause the action and adjust the camera, lens, brightness, filters, character poses, framing and UI before taking screenshots.
IO has also refined weapon-handling animations across the arsenal and included more than 700 fixes and improvements in Update 1.3.0, covering areas such as crashes, progression problems, audio, localization and UI issues.
Extended Operations is available now through Update 1.3.0 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam, the Microsoft Store and Epic Games Store. IO says further improvements and content for 007 First Light are already in development.
