Hell Is Us Switch 2 Delayed to October 27 Alongside Major Update
Hell Is Us on Switch 2 has been delayed to October 27 due to logistical and distribution issues, with the game's major update moving to the same date.
Hell Is Us has been delayed again on Nintendo Switch 2, moving from October 8 to October 27 because of logistical and distribution problems outside Rogue Factor's control.
The developer says the Switch 2 version itself is ready and that the latest delay is not related to technical issues. A major update planned for the existing PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC versions has also moved to October 27 so it can launch alongside the port.
Rogue Factor says the Switch 2 version is already ready

Rogue Factor said there is no last-minute development problem behind the new date. The studio described the Switch 2 build as solid and stable, with the delay instead caused by logistical and distribution issues it cannot control.
Rogue Factor has not provided further details about the logistical or distribution problems behind the delay. That leaves Switch 2 players with an additional 19-day wait, but without any announced technical changes needed before launch.
The major update has moved with the Switch 2 release

Rogue Factor had announced the major update on September 4 as part of Hell Is Us' first anniversary, originally scheduling it for October 8 alongside the Switch 2 version. The studio also revealed that the game had reached 1.5 million players during its first year.
Rather than release the update earlier on platforms where Hell Is Us is already available, Rogue Factor has moved it to October 27. The studio said it wants players to receive the same experience at the same time.
Full patch notes have not yet been published. Rogue Factor has teased new Hollow Walker enemies as part of the upcoming content, but the complete scope of the update remains unannounced.
September's crowded schedule caused the first delay
The October 27 date is the second change to the Switch 2 release schedule. Rogue Factor originally planned to launch the port on September 24 before moving it to October 8 in July. At that time, the studio said development was on track but described September 2026 as a "very busy" month for game releases and chose to move Hell Is Us into a less crowded period.
The latest postponement has a different cause. The crowded release calendar prompted the first two-week shift, while logistical and distribution problems are responsible for the move to October 27.
