Steam Achievement Data for Persona 6 and Kingdom Hearts IV Appears Online

September 10, 2026·4 min read

Achievement data tied to several unreleased Steam games has appeared through Exophase, exposing potential details from Persona 6, Kingdom Hearts IV, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, Judas, and other upcoming releases.

Some of the listings go well beyond generic test entries. Persona 6 currently has 48 achievements visible on Exophase, while Kingdom Hearts IV has 50, with both sets containing apparent story and gameplay information, including details that have not been publicly disclosed by their publishers.

The data is visible through achievement-tracking services, but neither Valve nor the companies behind the affected games have confirmed that every entry reflects final content.

Exophase owner x3sphere said achievement data that should have remained private had become accessible through Steam's API, allowing the site's automated systems to scan it. He described the situation as a possible error on Valve's end, although Valve has not publicly confirmed the cause.

Persona 6 is one of the most popular games caught in the exposure because its Exophase listing appears to contain story and gameplay details that Atlus has not publicly revealed.

Its Exophase entry contains 48 achievements covering apparent story progression, combat systems, social mechanics, and other activities. Several descriptions are specific enough to potentially spoil parts of the game, so the full list is best avoided by anyone who wants to go into the release without advance details.

The data is not proof that every name or mechanic will appear unchanged at launch. Achievement information can change during development, and some of the surfaced entries contain placeholder or unfinished text.

Kingdom Hearts IV has a similarly detailed listing with 50 achievements. Exophase shows entries tied to story progression, locations, combat, crafting, and other activities. SteamDB separately lists Steam achievement support for the game, although that does not verify the individual achievement names or descriptions exposed through Exophase.

Square Enix currently lists Kingdom Hearts IV for 2027 on Steam.

Ace Combat 8, Judas and other unreleased games are also affected

The exposed data extends beyond the two RPGs.

Achievement information can change during development, and some of the surfaced entries contain placeholder or unfinished text.

SteamDB currently lists Ace Combat 8 as a prerelease title with Steam achievements enabled ahead of its October 2 launch. That indicates achievement support is planned, but does not verify that every achievement surfaced through Exophase represents final game content.

The amount of information varies between games. Some entries appear far more complete than others, while placeholder text and unfinished descriptions are also present.

That makes the data more useful as evidence that achievement information became publicly accessible than as a finished checklist of what each game will contain.

Unnamed listings are harder to identify

The batch also appears to include entries that are not clearly attached to publicly announced projects.

Those listings need more caution than games such as Persona 6 or Kingdom Hearts IV, where the Steam identity is already known. A Steam AppID, achievement name, or description is not enough on its own to confirm the identity of an unannounced game.

One early attempt to connect an unknown listing to Balatro has already been rejected by creator LocalThunk, who said he is only working on a major content update for the existing game and that the project being discussed was not affiliated with Balatro.

That correction shows why the unnamed entries should not be treated as surprise game announcements.

For already-announced games, the exposure is still significant because the achievement descriptions appear to contain systems, locations, and story information that publishers have not yet publicly detailed.
