Legacy sweep G2 3-0 to win FISSURE Playground 3

Legacy defeated G2 3-0 in the FISSURE Playground 3 grand final on September 13, winning the Counter-Strike 2 tournament in Suzhou, China. The Brazilian team won Ancient 13-9, Mirage 13-10, and Dust2 13-4 to complete the sweep.

Bruno “latto” Rebelatto led Legacy throughout the final and was named tournament MVP. The victory gives Legacy another trophy in China after its CS Asia Championship wins in 2025 and 2026.

Legacy made a strong start on its Ancient pick and moved ahead 5-2, but G2 answered with five straight rounds to take a 7-5 lead into halftime. G2 then won the second pistol round to extend its advantage to 8-5.

Legacy responded immediately with a force-buy win and began taking control of the map. With Legacy ahead 10-9, latto found two kills in a three-on-three situation to keep his team in front.

G2 did not win another round. Legacy closed Ancient 13-9 to take the first map of the series.

Legacy hold off G2’s comeback on Mirage

Santino “try” Rigal helped Legacy take control early on G2’s Mirage pick, opening the map with four kills in the pistol round. His AWP also helped Legacy race to a 5-0 start before the team finished the first half ahead 9-3.

G2 found more success after switching sides and narrowed the score to 11-8. Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač also produced an ace as G2 tried to extend the comeback.

Legacy stopped the recovery before G2 could level the map. The Brazilian side won Mirage 13-10 and moved one map away from the trophy.

Legacy dominate Dust2 to finish the sweep

Legacy carried its advantage into Dust2 and again opened with a 5-0 run. An 8-4 lead at halftime left G2 needing another comeback, but this time there was no response.

Legacy won all five rounds after the break to finish Dust2 13-4 and complete the 3-0 sweep. The result ended G2’s run after the team reached the final by beating BETBOOM 2-1 in the semifinals. Legacy had earned its place with a 2-1 semifinal victory over MIBR.

latto takes MVP after dominating the final

latto topped Legacy’s scoreboard on all three maps and finished the final with 69 kills against 34 deaths. He recorded a 1.67 rating across the series, including a 2.25 rating on Dust2.

His performance secured the FISSURE Playground 3 MVP award after he also finished as the highest-rated player in the playoffs. It is the third MVP award of his career, with all three coming during Legacy tournament wins in China.

FISSURE Playground 3 ran from September 8 to 13 and featured 16 teams competing in Suzhou. Legacy finished the event as champion after going through the tournament without losing a series.
