Rocket League Teases Five Nights at Freddy's Crossover for Haunted Hallows 2026
Rocket League teases a Five Nights at Freddy's crossover for Haunted Hallows 2026, featuring Freddy Fazbear in a new Halloween trailer.
Rocket League is bringing Five Nights at Freddy's to its Haunted Hallows 2026 Halloween celebration. Psyonix teased the collaboration on October 20 through a short video featuring Freddy Fazbear appearing inside an arena, confirming that the popular horror franchise is joining the vehicular soccer game.
The teaser offers an early look at the crossover but does not reveal its full content. Psyonix has yet to announce the event's start date, available cosmetics or how players will obtain any themed rewards.

The announcement video uses security camera footage, recreating the surveillance-style presentation associated with Five Nights at Freddy's.
It begins with a view of an empty, worn-down arena before a soccer ball rolls toward the goal. Freddy Fazbear then suddenly emerges from the net in an oversized form, delivering a jumpscare inspired by the horror series.
The sequence has raised the possibility of a Freddy-themed Goal Explosion, since the animatronic appears immediately after the ball enters the goal. However, Psyonix has not confirmed whether the animation represents an obtainable in-game item or was created specifically for the teaser.
No other characters or cosmetics are shown. The developer has also not announced whether familiar animatronics such as Bonnie, Chica or Foxy will appear during the event.
Haunted Hallows 2026 rewards and event dates remain unconfirmed
Haunted Hallows is Rocket League's annual Halloween event, traditionally featuring seasonal challenges, limited-time modes and themed customization items. The 2025 celebration included a Scooby-Doo collaboration, bringing the Mystery Machine vehicle to the Item Shop alongside earnable cosmetics and a special game mode.
A similar approach could be used for the Five Nights at Freddy's crossover, although Psyonix has not confirmed any specific rewards, bundles or playlists for this year's event.
The collaboration also continues the horror franchise's expansion into other multiplayer games. Springtrap joined Dead by Daylight in 2025, while Fortnite introduced Five Nights at Freddy's content as part of Fortnitemares 2026.
For now, Psyonix has only shown Freddy Fazbear in the teaser, without confirming any obtainable crossover items. The developer has not announced a start date for Haunted Hallows 2026 or said when it will reveal the event's full details.
