Splatoon 3 has received another multiplayer update, and Nintendo has added in a new reward for players who finished Splatoon Raiders. Version 11.3.0 launched on August 19 for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, adding the Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica alongside another round of weapon balance changes.
The replica cannot be picked up through the normal weapon shop. Players need to clear the main story of Splatoon Raiders on Switch 2, then return to Splatoon 3 with the same user profile to claim it.

Players who meet the requirements can collect the Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica from the lobby terminal in Splatoon 3. The completed Splatoon Raiders save must be stored on the same Switch 2 system, and both games need to use the same profile.
Despite being a new reward, the replica does not introduce a different weapon kit. Nintendo says it has the same specifications as the Tentatek Splattershot, so the main draw is the design and its connection to Splatoon Raiders.
The reward gives Nintendo a small way to connect the two games after Splatoon Raiders launched exclusively for Switch 2 on July 23. The spin-off follows a mechanic working with Deep Cut while exploring the Spirhalite Islands, making the new weapon a direct reward for finishing its main adventure.

Version 11.3.0 gives the Carbon Roller family more reach on vertical swings, allowing it to deal 50 damage farther away than before. Its maximum forward movement speed while painting has also increased by around 5%.
Tri-Slosher weapons now consume roughly 5% less ink, while Glooga Dualies have around 10% less shot scatter after a Dodge Roll. Nintendo has gone the other way with several weapons that can maintain pressure from farther back. Snipewriter 5H and 5B consume about 7% more ink, E-liter 4K variants get less benefit from Ink Saver (Main), and Tri-Stringer weapons ink a smaller area with their falling spray.
The .52 Gal and .52 Gal Deco also produce a smaller ink splatter when distant shots hit the ground. Nintendo says some of these adjustments are meant to make it harder for certain weapons to safely keep Splat Zones covered or maintain constant pressure on opponents.
Triple Splashdown now makes its user invulnerable roughly one-sixth of a second sooner after activation. In exchange, its damaging explosion area has been reduced by around 9%, while the two ink fists travel about 9% farther. The change also reduces the area where overlapping explosions can deal at least 100 damage.
Trizooka shots travel around 13% faster without gaining additional range, while Ink Vac can absorb about 9% less enemy ink. Nintendo also lowered the special requirement for Splattershot Pro FRZ-N from 190 to 180 points and Custom Hydra Splatling from 200 to 190. Inkline Tri-Stringer now needs 200 points instead of 190.
Version 11.3.0 fixes a Squid Surge movement issue as well. Nintendo says the next Splatoon 3 update will continue focusing on multiplayer balance.
