College Football 27 Release Times For Early Access And Regular Edition
June 30, 2026·4 min read
College Football 27 is almost here, which means players are already planning their first Dynasty save, Road to Glory run, and late-night Ultimate Team grind. The only confusing part is the launch schedule. EA has split access across MVP+ members, Deluxe Edition buyers, MVP Bundle owners, and everyone waiting for the regular release.
The clean version is simple: MVP+ members start first on July 2 at 2:00 PM ET. Deluxe Edition and MVP Bundle buyers start on July 6 at 2:00 PM ET. The full worldwide launch follows on July 9 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through the EA app, Steam, and Epic.
MVP+ members get the first kick-off
MVP+ is the earliest way into College Football 27. Members can start playing on July 2, which is four days before the normal early access window opens.
That option is built for players who already know they want both EA football games this year. MVP+ includes the MVP Bundle benefits, seven-day access, beta access, monthly Ultimate Team content, all playable mascots unlocked in College Football 27, and extra points for Dynasty and Road to Glory.
The key detail is that MVP+ is its own tier. Buying the Deluxe Edition does not unlock the July 2 start.

Deluxe Edition and MVP Bundle start next
Most early players will come in through the Deluxe Edition or MVP Bundle. That access begins on July 6 at 2:00 PM ET and runs until the regular launch window.
The Deluxe Edition includes the base game, three-day access, early access solo challenges, 4,600 College Football Points, Ultimate Team items, Dynasty Coach Points, and Road to Glory Skill Points.
The MVP Bundle is mainly for players who want College Football 27 and Madden NFL 27 together. It adds Madden’s Deluxe Edition content on top of the College Football 27 Deluxe Edition rewards, so it makes the most sense for people who play both games every year.
Standard Edition players can wait without losing the game
The Standard Edition launches worldwide on July 9. It does not include early access, but it still gives players the base game and preorder bonuses.
Players who only care about Dynasty, Road to Glory, Play Now, or playing casually with their school do not need to pay extra just to start a few days earlier.
The extra editions are mainly for people who want more Ultimate Team content, extra progression points, or the earliest possible start. Everyone else can wait for the regular release and still get the full game.
PC players should preload early
College Football 27 is also coming to PC through the EA app, Steam, and Epic. That is a big change for the series, and it means PC players will be part of launch week from day one.
Steam lists preload support, which should help players avoid a rushed download when access opens. Still, store unlocks can feel different across platforms, so players should check the countdown on the store where they bought the game.
That is especially important for early access buyers. The last thing anyone wants is to pay for a head start and spend the first night waiting for a download.
Pick the edition that matches how you play
College Football 27 has a messy-looking launch schedule, but the choice is not that complicated. MVP+ is for the earliest start. Deluxe Edition is for the normal three-day head start. MVP Bundle is for players who want both College Football and Madden. Standard Edition is for everyone who can wait.
Once the preload is ready, the rest is easy. Pick your team, clear the download, and be ready before the first snap.
