Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival Shows Four Minutes of New Gameplay
The latest footage gives a closer look at the Genesis Configuration, the Labyrinth, combat, and survival systems. Saber estimates a full playthrough at around eight to 12 hours.
Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released a new four-minute gameplay overview for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, giving an extended look at its first-person combat, supernatural abilities, environments, and survival horror systems ahead of launch.
The footage puts protagonist Aidan's moment-to-moment survival at the center, showing melee weapons, firearms and the supernatural powers of the Genesis Configuration alongside dodging, resource scavenging, traps and upgrades. Saber describes Hellraiser: Revival as a single-player first-person action horror survival game.
Combat mixes conventional weapons with the powers of the box
The overview shows Aidan dodging attacks, scavenging for ammunition and healing supplies, setting traps, and bartering for upgrades while fighting enemies including Cultists, Runners, Bursters, and the Unworthy.
The Genesis Configuration adds supernatural options by letting him hurl objects at enemies, scorch them with fire, gather Suffering, and unleash the Hell Chains.
Aidan's journey leads deeper into the Labyrinth
The gameplay overview also spends more time inside the Labyrinth, the otherworldly realm at the center of Aidan's attempt to rescue his girlfriend Sunny.
The game is built as a new story within the Hellraiser universe rather than an adaptation of one of the existing films. Clive Barker has served as a guiding hand for the game's new story, while Doug Bradley returns as the voice of Pinhead for the first time in nearly two decades.
Revival is built as a single-player horror game
Hellraiser: Revival is being released as a dedicated single-player experience, with Saber estimating a full playthrough at around eight to 12 hours.
An internet connection will not be required to play, and Saber currently says it has no post-launch content plans to announce.
Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival launches October 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam.
