November 4, 2026·3 min read
Xbox Game Pass adds Warhammer Survivors on November 10 alongside Escape Academy 2, Thronefall and other November 2026 releases.
Microsoft has revealed the first wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for November 2026, with Warhammer Survivors joining the service on its November 10 launch day alongside several other new and returning games.
The lineup also includes Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School, Thronefall, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando and Football Manager 2027 Console. Some games are arriving across multiple Game Pass tiers, while others require Ultimate or PC Game Pass.
Warhammer Survivors joins Game Pass on November 10
Warhammer Survivors will be available through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on November 10. Xbox lists support for cloud gaming, Xbox Series X|S, handheld devices and PC through the service.
Developed by Auroch Digital in partnership with Vampire Survivors studio poncle, the game applies the familiar survivors-style formula to both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Players fight increasingly large enemy hordes while collecting weapons, leveling characters and building stronger combinations during each run.
The full game includes more than 40 playable champions and over 70 weapons drawn from the two Warhammer settings. Confirmed enemies include Tyranids, Orks, Death Guard, Skaven, Gloomspite Gitz and the Blades of Khorne.
Characters revealed so far include Malum Caedo, Neave Blacktalon and the Legend of Catachan. The game is designed as a single-player experience at launch, with Auroch Digital saying multiplayer is not currently included.
Escape Academy 2 arrives one day earlier
Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School launches into Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on November 5. The sequel expands the puzzle series into what its developers describe as an open-world escape-room game, with both local and online two-player co-op supported.
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite and MySims Cozy Bundle also arrive on November 5. Football Manager 2027 Console follows on November 10 alongside Warhammer Survivors and Tanuki: Pon’s Summer.
Strategy game Thronefall joins on November 11, while four-player action game John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando arrives on November 12. Don’t Nod’s science-fiction adventure Aphelion and Paw Patrol: Dino World are scheduled for November 17.
Game Pass Essential gets eight older Xbox games
Microsoft is also expanding the Game Pass Essential library on November 15. The additions include Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts and Gears of War: Judgment.
Halo: Spartan Assault, Perfect Dark, Viva Piñata and Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise complete the Essential additions. Cloud support is available for most of those games, while Halo: Spartan Assault is also playable on PC.
Thirteen games leave Game Pass on November 15
The November refresh also removes several existing titles. 1000xResist, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, GoldenEye 007, Moonlighter, Total Chaos and Wreckfest are among the games scheduled to leave on November 15.
For new releases, Warhammer Survivors is one of the most notable additions because Game Pass subscribers can play it on the same day it launches elsewhere. Its November 10 release will also reach PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Steam, GOG, iOS and Android.
