QTCinderella Opens Streamer Awards 2026 Applications

QTCinderella has kicked off The Streamer Awards 2026, opening applications and introducing a new way for creators to put themselves forward before community nominations begin.

For the first time, streamers can apply directly for the categories they want to be considered for and submit clips showing their work. Applications are open until October 2, with this year's awards ceremony taking place on November 12.

Creators can apply for themselves for the first time

In previous years, streamers depended on their communities to put their names forward during nominations. The new application system gives creators another route into the consideration process without replacing viewer nominations.

Applicants can choose relevant categories, submit a clip for each one, and explain why their work deserves consideration. They can also set the name and photo they want used during the show and provide a recording showing how their name should be pronounced.

The eligibility window covers content from November 8, 2025 through October 1, 2026, so creators can update their applications with eligible content released before submissions close.

Applying does not guarantee a nomination

QTCinderella made clear that creators do not need to apply to be eligible for an award, and submitting an application does not guarantee a place among the nominees.

Community nominations open on September 12 and close alongside applications on October 2. The community's leading choices will fill most of the nominee spots in each category, with an industry panel adding one additional nominee.

Eligible creators must have streamed for at least 200 hours during the eligibility period, with certain category-specific awards also requiring at least 100 hours of relevant content.

Community voting still decides most of the final result

Voting begins on October 16 and runs through October 31. Viewer votes account for 70% of the final result, while the industry panel makes up the remaining 30%.

Nominees will also get more control over how they appear during the show this year. Once selected, creators can update their displayed name, photo, and featured clip directly through their Streamer Awards dashboard before the broadcast.

The Streamer Awards 2026 will take place on November 12 and stream live on Twitch and YouTube.
