October 15, 2026·3 min read

Titanium Court launches on PS5, Nintendo Switch and mobile on October 29, bringing its match-three strategy and tower defense gameplay to new platforms.

Titanium Court, the award-winning indie strategy game from developer AP Thomson, will launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iOS and Android on October 29, 2026. Publisher Fellow Traveller confirmed the release date alongside a new trailer on October 14.

The game originally launched on Steam on April 23 and has attracted attention for combining match-three puzzles, tower defense, roguelike progression and surreal storytelling. Its upcoming release will bring the single-player adventure to consoles and mobile devices for the first time.

Titanium Court features an unusual combat system where players manipulate the battlefield before defending their territory against enemy forces.

Battles involve swapping and matching terrain tiles to collect resources, change the battlefield and create advantages against opponents. Players must then use those resources to strengthen their defenses and prepare for incoming attacks.

The game also incorporates roguelike progression, with each run introducing different strategic challenges and opportunities to develop new approaches. Players can acquire upgrades that influence how they approach later encounters.

Rather than relying on traditional combat alone, Titanium Court makes manipulating the battlefield an essential part of its strategy.

Beyond its strategy mechanics, Titanium Court features a narrative set in a strange fairy kingdom filled with unusual characters, magic and absurd humor.

Players become involved in the Court's affairs while helping its residents search for their missing queen. The mystery unfolds through conversations and unexpected situations, with the story frequently shifting between comedy and more unusual narrative ideas.

The game also features a range of unconventional character roles and upgrades. Its combination of dialogue-heavy storytelling and tactical battles gives it a different structure from traditional tower defense games.

Titanium Court won two awards at IGF 2026

Before its Steam debut, Titanium Court won the Seumas McNally Grand Prize and Excellence in Design at the 2026 Independent Games Festival. The recognition highlighted the game's unconventional approach to combining different genres.

Developer AP Thomson previously contributed to Consume Me, which won the festival's Grand Prize in 2025.

The upcoming console and mobile releases will expand the game's availability beyond PC. Nintendo currently lists the game as a Switch release compatible with Switch 2, rather than a separately identified native Switch 2 edition. The listing also confirms touchscreen support, handheld, tabletop and TV play, with an estimated download size of 526MB.

Fellow Traveller has not announced pricing for the new versions or detailed any platform-specific changes. The publisher has also not confirmed whether save data can be transferred between Steam and the upcoming releases.
