The 10 Highest-Rated Players in EA Sports FC 26
July 17, 2026·7 min read
Every year the EA FC ratings reveal turns into its own event, and this year's edition is no exception. The biggest talking point is a tie at the very top. Four players share a base rating of 91, and in at least one case that number is already sparking debate. Below them is a group of six 90-rated players offering very different profiles, from Van Dijk's elite defending to Haaland's finishing and Dembélé's dribbling.
Van Dijk is the only defender to make the cut, no goalkeeper appears in the top 10, and four players share the highest overall rating. Here's the top 10 highest-rated players in EA FC 26.
10. Erling Haaland
- Overall: 90
- Club: Manchester City
- Nationality: Norway
Haaland's card leans heavily on one number: a 91 shooting stat, among the highest in the entire game. His finishing inside the box is close to unstoppable once he's through on goal, and an 88 physical rating means he muscles past most center backs in a one on one.
His passing is far weaker, sitting at a modest 70, so this isn't a card that builds play. On teams with quick wingers and strong creators feeding him, Haaland is invaluable and ruthlessly efficient with the chances he gets. Don't be surprised if he cracks the top five next season.
9. Jude Bellingham

- Overall: 90
- Club: Real Madrid
- Nationality: England
Bellingham is the rare 90-rated card with no real weakness. His stats sit between 78 and 90 across the board, making him one of the most balanced midfielders in EA FC 26. He can drop deep to help build play, arrive late in the box for a shot, and still hold a respectable defensive number.
That versatility is exactly why his card fits into so many formations, mirroring how multidimensional he is on the actual pitch. A standout showing at the 2026 World Cup could push his rating even higher next year.
8. Virgil van Dijk
- Overall: 90
- Club: Liverpool
- Nationality: Netherlands
Van Dijk is the only defender to crack the top 10, and his card makes the case on its own. A 90 defending rating puts him at the top of the category this year, and paired with 87 physical, he's close to impossible to get past. Pace and shooting are secondary on this card, sitting well below his defensive numbers, but let's be honest, nobody buys van Dijk to score goals.
In Ultimate Team he remains one of the few cards that can anchor a back line without needing a chemistry style to cover a weak stat. He may no longer be at his absolute peak, but he remains one of the world's leading defenders. With several younger center backs emerging, however, his place in next year's top 10 could come under pressure.
7. Caroline Graham Hansen
- Overall: 90
- Club: FC Barcelona
- Nationality: Norway
Graham Hansen's numbers read almost identically to Salah's. She's an all-around attacking card with 89 pace, 87 shooting, and 90 dribbling, giving her the tools to beat a defender one on one and finish the play herself. What sets her apart is passing at 88, high enough that she's just as comfortable setting up a teammate as taking the shot herself.
On the women's side of FC 26 she's one of the most complete wide players available, and her level holds up in nearly any attacking system.
6. Rodri
- Overall: 90
- Club: Manchester City
- Nationality: Spain
Rodri's card looks unusual next to the rest of this list, since his pace is the lowest in the entire top 10 at just 65. That number matters less than it seems. His job isn't to run the pitch, it's to sit in front of the back four and dictate everything happening around him. An 86 defending stat paired with 86 passing makes him the best pure holding midfielder in the game, able to break up an attack and launch a counter with a killer through ball in the same motion.
Players who build around possession get more out of Rodri than almost anyone else at this rating. A quick striker or winger who can run onto his through balls is the ideal partner for him.
5. Ousmane Dembele
- Overall: 90
- Club: Paris Saint-Germain
- Nationality: France
Dembélé holds the highest dribbling rating in the entire game at 93, edging out even Mbappé, and it shows the moment he gets the ball in space. A 91 pace stat lets him actually use that dribbling at full speed instead of just looking good standing still. His shooting sits at a strong 88, so he's a genuine goal threat and not just a highlight-reel dribbler, though his defensive contribution is close to nonexistent.
PSG's title-winning season clearly pushed his rating up, and the card reflects a player who can single-handedly break down a low block. Dembélé should stay in the top tier next year despite missing a chunk of the season with injury. He came back and immediately showed world-class quality, helping PSG win another Champions League.
4. Aitana Bonmati
- Overall: 91
- Club: FC Barcelona
- Nationality: Spain
Bonmatí's card is proof that a 91 overall doesn't have to come from one dominant attribute. Her 91 dribbling leads the way, supported by 87 shooting and 86 passing, giving her the tools to control possession and still provide a threat around the box.
A 77 defending rating, unusually high for an attacking midfielder, means she doesn't turn into a liability the moment possession is lost. She's the kind of card that makes an entire midfield work rather than just producing highlight moments. Bonmatí slots easily into most squads and adds real value on both ends of the pitch.
3. Kylian Mbappe

- Overall: 91
- Club: Real Madrid
- Nationality: France
Mbappé holds the single highest pace rating in FC 26 at 97, and that number alone makes his card a nightmare to defend against in transition. Combine that with 92 dribbling, second only to Dembélé, and defenders are left with almost no way to slow him down in open space. A 90 shooting stat means he still finishes at an elite rate despite all that speed. Few players in the game turn a single loose ball into a goal as consistently as this one.
As dangerous as Mbappé is in attack, his card carries almost no defensive value. Building a squad around him means pairing him with midfielders who can actually hold their own defensively. Real Madrid may not have delivered trophies, but Mbappé still won the top scorer title in both LaLiga and the Champions League, and he shone at the World Cup as well. He's a lock for a spot on next year's list too.

2. Alexia Putellas
- Overall: 91
- Club: FC Barcelona
- Nationality: Spain
Putellas edges past her Barcelona teammate Bonmatí on this list mostly on the strength of her shooting, sitting at 89, higher than most other 91-rated cards. Her dribbling matches the top tier at 91, and passing follows close behind at 90, giving her the profile of a midfielder who can take over a match from deep or finish it herself in the box. A 72 defending stat is unusually solid for someone this dangerous going forward.
Her return to full fitness and a 22-goal 2024/25 season helped establish her once again as one of the most influential midfielders in the women's game.
1. Mohamed Salah
- Overall: 91
- Club: Liverpool
- Nationality: Egypt
Salah shares the highest overall rating with Mbappé, but his card is built around balance across its four attacking face stats: 89 pace, 88 shooting, 86 passing, and 90 dribbling. Beneath those numbers, his 94 finishing is the attribute that truly separates him from most wide players.
That balance is exactly what made him Liverpool's most dependable attacker last season, and it's what makes his card so easy to build around in Ultimate Team. He doesn't need a specific system or a perfectly weighted pass to be effective. He just needs the ball anywhere near the box.
At 34, Salah's place at the top of next year's ranking is far from guaranteed. For now, though, his combination of finishing, dribbling, creativity, and consistency makes him a deserving number one in EA's official FC 26 order.
