Disney Dreamlight Valley DLC release confirmed for July 8

June 22, 2026·4 min read
Disney Dreamlight Valley is at its best when a new update gives players somewhere warm to settle into for a while. A new character is fun, but a whole themed space with quests, decorations, and small activities gives players a better reason to return to the Valley.

That is what Gameloft is doing with Disney Dreamlight Valley: Honeyglow Woods. The new paid Adventure Pack launches on July 8 across all platforms for $16.99, bringing Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore into a new woodland area inspired by Disney’s Winnie the Pooh.

Honeyglow Woods is a focused paid pack

Honeyglow Woods is the first Adventure Pack for Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is smaller than a full yearly expansion, but larger than a normal free update. The idea is to give players a focused story, a new place to explore, new characters, and fresh rewards without turning it into a massive expansion.

The Hundred Acre Wood works best when it feels quiet, familiar, and personal. A smaller paid pack gives Gameloft room to build around that softer mood instead of stretching the idea too far.

Players can buy the pack separately if they already own the game. New players can also pick up the Honeyglow Woods Edition, which includes the base game, the Adventure Pack, and 10,000 Moonstones for $49.99.

Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore lead the new story

The story begins with the Everoak Tree at the center of Honeyglow Woods closing up. To reach the new area, players grow a magical glowing tree that can be placed in the Valley, on Floating Islands, or inside expansion areas.

That small detail helps the pack feel connected to the player’s own world. Instead of sending everyone through a fixed menu doorway, the DLC lets players place the entrance where it fits their Valley. For a game built around decorating and personal space, that is a smart touch.

Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore each arrive with their own homes, Friendship Quests, and rewards. That should give players more than a quick visit, especially if they enjoy building routines around new villagers.

The new area is built around cozy activities

Honeyglow Woods is split into four areas: Drowsybloom Acre, Gloommeadow, Braveheart Grove, and Nectar Apiary. Each one adds a different part of the woodland, from brighter meadows to gloomier paths and honey-filled spaces.

Beekeeping is one of the main new systems. Players can place flowers around Busy Bees’ Houses to make honey, then use that honey for recipes and furniture. A fully pollinated Busy Bees’ House can also help flowers grow faster in the same biome, which gives decorators and gardeners another reason to keep working on their layouts.

Players can use bridges in Gloommeadow to drop sticks or other items into the river and race them for rewards and Friendship progress. It is a simple minigame, but it fits the tone of the pack better than a louder activity would.

Players should check access before July 8

The pack is paid DLC, so not every player gets it the same way. It is not included with Xbox Game Pass, which means subscribers playing the base game through the service will still need to buy Honeyglow Woods separately. Apple Arcade Edition players will get the pack at launch at no extra cost.

Anyone who plays the Adventure Pack or the Honeyglow Woods Edition before July 22 will receive the Rainy Day Winnie the Pooh Dream Style through the in-game mailbox.

For players who want more cozy story content, July 8 is the next date to watch. Honeyglow Woods brings a gentler kind of DLC to Disney Dreamlight Valley, with a new forest, three classic characters, honey to gather, and one very good reason to make room for a glowing tree.
