Fields of Mistria has officially reached version 1.0, and NPC Studio marked the occasion with a trailer styled like a 1990s anime opening. The farming RPG left Early Access on August 5, exactly two years after its Steam debut, with its main town progression and relationship systems now finished.
That makes the full release a better starting point for players who waited for the game to feel complete. Existing saves carry over, the Town Repair story can now reach its ending, and romance goes all the way to marriage and children.

The launch trailer starts with an anime-style opening before showing the daily life that made the game popular. Farming, festivals, mining, magic, and town life all return. The bigger change is that players can now follow the main progression without reaching an Early Access stopping point.
Players can also complete the Town Repair questline and finish the museum's goals. New requests give players more reasons to help people around Mistria. Stillwell and Zorel have also joined the Saturday Market with more items to discover.
Returning players do not need to abandon old farms to see the new content. Early Access saves work with version 1.0, and Steam achievements can unlock from progress that was already completed. That makes the update easier to return to without asking long-time players to repeat work they already finished.

Relationship stories now continue to 10 hearts, opening proposal events for romanceable villagers. Players can now move from dating to marriage. They can also choose wedding details like flowers, cake, and reception food. Married characters also get new dialogue and routines instead of becoming static once the ceremony is over.
Children are available after marriage, but they remain optional. The game also accounts for players who dated several villagers before choosing one partner. Settings let players choose how earlier relationships change. This makes the system feel less punishing for those who explored multiple romance paths during Early Access.
Mistria's villagers have always been a big part of the game's charm. Their conversations, group scenes, festivals, and daily routines make the world feel alive. Finishing the romance system gives those relationships a proper destination. Players who stayed away because major character arcs stopped early now have a better reason to start fresh or return.
NPC Studio is treating version 1.0 as a full release rather than the end of development. More content updates and patches are planned. The launch build also includes extra dungeon quests, rewards, perks, furniture, cosmetics, mount skins, music options, performance improvements, and a long list of fixes.
The game is also reaching more players with beta support for languages like Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish. Feedback after launch will help shape both localization work and the smaller updates that follow the main 1.0 milestone.
Fields of Mistria remains available on PC through Steam and supports Steam Deck. Console versions have not been announced, although NPC Studio says it will look at ports in the future. For players who waited for the story, town, and relationships to feel complete, the Steam version now provides a finished experience.
