Game of Thrones: Conquest is bringing back its Lord of Light event on August 7, giving players three days to fight with stronger PvP bonuses and reduce the usual cost of losing troops. The event runs through August 9 and returns as part of the game's regular rotation rather than as a new standalone release.
The main attraction is how much safer aggressive play becomes while the bonuses are active. Players can train troops, join rallies, wound enemy armies, and heal their own forces while earning points. The biggest advantage turns troops that would normally die into wounded units, as long as there is enough space to treat them.

Blessings of R'hllor provides the main bonuses, while Brighter Flames and Longer Shadows reward different parts of preparation and combat. Training troops earns points through Brighter Flames, while Longer Shadows focuses on wounding or killing enemy soldiers and healing casualties.
The biggest change is +100% Dead to Wounded Conversion. Troops that would usually be lost can move into Medical Tents instead, making risky attacks and large alliance rallies easier to recover from. The protection is strong, but injured troops still need space and time before they can return to battle.
Combat, march, and rally buffs push alliances toward more active fighting during the event. Players who usually avoid dangerous targets may be more willing to join a team attack. This is because losing a character is less costly. Stronger kingdoms can still punish careless moves, so choosing the right time and target is important.

Game of Thrones: Conquest usually makes players think carefully before attacking. Building an army takes time and resources, and one bad fight can slow progress long after it ends. Lord of Light changes that balance by making recovery easier and encouraging more pressure between rival alliances.
Emptying Medical Tents, stocking healing resources, training enough troops, and checking alliance plans can stop players from wasting the temporary bonuses. A kingdom that enters with full hospitals or poor coordination can lose momentum quickly even with stronger protection.
The Lord of Light is tied to fire, sacrifice, survival, and resurrection throughout Game of Thrones. Here, troops can survive battles that would normally kill them, but players still have to manage the wounded afterward.
The event gets more dangerous when Medical Tents are full. The Dead to Wounded bonus cannot help if there is no space for more troops. Extra healing support and larger capacity help, but repeated attacks can still push those limits. Players who keep fighting without healing may begin taking permanent losses.
Newer players should avoid treating the event as consequence-free PvP. Stronger kingdoms can still crush smaller armies, and a failed solo attack can leave thousands of troops waiting for treatment. Joining alliance rallies, checking target strength, and healing between fights gives players a safer route to event points.
Lord of Light ends on August 9, so players need to be ready to make the most of the short event. Players should take smart risks while the extra protection is active and make sure there is space for wounded soldiers.
