LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is getting a new look at its upcoming Mayhem Collection DLC during Gamescom 2026. A fresh trailer will debut during the Gamescom Studio livestream on August 26, followed by a closer look at what TT Games has planned for the expansion.
The Mayhem Collection launches on September 18 and puts Joker and Harley Quinn in playable roles. It adds a new story mission, Mayhem Mode, and another set of suits, Batcave items, and a Batmobile.

The Gamescom Studio livestream will feature the new trailer at around 6 a.m. PT, 9 a.m. ET, and 3 p.m. CEST on August 26. The DLC is also set to appear at Gamescom itself ahead of its September release.
The livestream will go beyond the trailer. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Lead Designer Tim Spence and Advanced Designer Chris Payne are scheduled to appear for a deeper discussion about the Mayhem Collection and what players can expect from its new content.
That should provide a better look at an expansion that Warner Bros. Games has already outlined but has yet to show in much detail. Joker and Harley have been confirmed as playable for months, while Mayhem Mode has largely remained a name and short description.

The Mayhem Collection gives both villains their own abilities, gadgets, and takedowns. Its new story mission begins with Joker and Harley Quinn breaking out of Arkham Asylum before taking their chaos into Gotham City.
Mayhem Mode expands on that idea with a separate activity built around the pair causing trouble across the city. Warner Bros. Games has not explained its full structure yet, making it one of the main parts of the DLC still waiting for a proper reveal.
The Sinister Pack rounds out the collection with seven new suits, one for each of the original playable characters. It also adds five Batcave items and another Batmobile for the open world.
The Mayhem Collection releases on September 18 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. It is included with the Deluxe Edition and requires the base game.
Standard Edition owners on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC can buy the $24.99 Deluxe Edition upgrade, which includes the existing Legacy Collection and access to Mayhem when it arrives.
September 18 is also the launch date for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. That gives TT Games two releases on the same day, but the August 26 Gamescom appearance comes first, with the new trailer set to provide the clearest look yet at Joker and Harley's playable DLC.
