G2 Esports Fight to Keep Labrov as NAVI and Fnatic Show Interest
G2 Esports are reportedly trying to keep support Labrov for the 2027 LEC season, with NAVI making an offer and Fnatic in talks.
G2 Esports are reportedly working to retain support player Labros "Labrov" Papoutsakis ahead of the 2027 League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) season. The 24-year-old Greek player is approaching the end of his contract, with NAVI and Fnatic among the organizations interested in signing him.
According to a November 5 report from Sheep Esports, G2 have already presented Labrov with multiple contract extension offers. NAVI have also made an offer, while Fnatic have held discussions with the player and his agent. No agreement has been confirmed.
G2 Make Multiple Offers as NAVI Pursue Labrov

G2 have reportedly offered Labrov at least two contract extensions in an effort to keep him for another season. Retaining the support player remains a priority, particularly after his successful partnership with bot laner Steven "Hans Sama" Liv.
However, NAVI have emerged as serious competition after submitting their own offer. The organization is also reportedly interested in G2 top laner Sergen "BrokenBlade" Çelik, who is exploring his options for 2027.
G2 have begun considering alternative support players in case Labrov decides to leave. Despite those preparations, the organization is still pushing for him to remain with its roster.
Fnatic Consider Labrov Amid Lospa Departure Reports
Fnatic have also reportedly expressed interest in Labrov as they prepare for a potential change at support. Sheep Esports previously reported that Park "Lospa" Joon-hyeong had reached a verbal agreement to join SK Gaming for 2027, although the transfer has not been officially announced.
Labrov and his agent have reportedly held discussions with Fnatic, although there is no confirmation of a formal contract offer. The team is considering several support candidates rather than focusing exclusively on the G2 player.
For now, Labrov has not committed to G2, NAVI, or Fnatic.
Labrov's Strong 2026 Season Attracts Rival Teams
Labrov joined G2 ahead of the 2025 season after spending two years with Team BDS. He replaced longtime support Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle and has since established himself as an important part of G2's lineup.
The team enjoyed an impressive domestic campaign in 2026, winning LEC Versus, Spring, and Summer. Labrov was named Finals MVP after G2 defeated Movistar KOI 3-0 in the Summer final on September 20.
G2 also reached the First Stand final and finished fourth at the Mid-Season Invitational. Their international season ended on a disappointing note, however, with the team failing to advance beyond the Swiss Stage at Worlds 2026.
